Beef and Bowtie Pasta with Alfredo Sauce recipe

Ingredients
For the Beef and Pasta:
1 lb ground beef (or diced steak for a heartier option)
12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Pinch of nutmeg (optional, for added depth)
Garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Extra Parmesan cheese, grated
