In a bowl, mix milk, sugar, and yeast. Whisk until the sugar dissolves and the yeast is activated (you’ll see bubbles forming).
Add vanilla sugar, yogurt, seed oil, and salt to the yeast mixture, stirring well.
Gradually add flour to the mixture and knead until a smooth, elastic dough forms.
Cover the dough with cling film and let it rise in a warm spot for one hour, or until it doubles in size.
Divide the dough into 8 pieces and roll each into a ball. Flatten the balls with a rolling pin and cut them into strips. Shape the strips into flowers by pinching the ends together.
Heat oil to 350–375°F. Fry the fritters until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
While the fritters are still warm, dip them in sugar until fully coated.
Serve the fritters warm, on their own, or with your favorite dipping sauces.
