Ham and cheese croissants

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out your puff pastry and cut into triangles if needed.
  3. Spread a little mustard or béchamel on each triangle (optional).
  4. Add one slice of ham and one slice of cheese on top.
  5. Roll up the triangles from the wide end to form croissants.
  6. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
